Feature of Hangeul
1. Type of writing system : alphabet
2. Direction of writing : Usually written from right to left in vertical until 1980. After the writing direction from left to right has popular so today the texts are horizontally.
3. Number of letter : total 24. So 14 consonant and 10 vowels. Combination of letter together into syllable block.
EXAMPLE: ㅎ(h)+ㅏ(a)+ㄴ(n)=한 (han)
ㄱ(g)+ㅡ(eu)+ㄹ(l)=글 (geul)
4. Spaces are placed between words, which can be made up of one or more syllables.
5. The sound of some consonants change depending on their position which was at beginning or middle or end.
