Korea is an East Asian territory that is divided into two separate sovereign states, North Korea and South Korea. Located on the Korean Peninsula, Korea is bordered by China to the northwest and Russia to the northeast. It is separated from Japan to the east by the Korea Strait and the Sea of Japan, and it is separated from Taiwan to the south by the East China Sea.
In this part, we’ll focus more on the Koreans traditional clothing as we knew that Korea is also well known with their unique cultures, which makes their traditional custom, mainly known as Hanbok, as one of their own identity that differ theirs from other cultures. :)

Historical Transitions of Korean Clothes
Traditional Korean Clothes - Hanbok
Before we go into details on Korean clothing, let's learn their historical values regarding the developments of Korean traditional clothes.
The Korean Clothes were developed according to the seasonal changes of Korea. In winter, the clothes were made to protect the human body from the cold weather, and in summer, they were made well-ventilated against the humid and hot weather. The social circumstance had effects on people's clothes and they had worn different clothes according to their social classes since the period of the three Kingdoms.
Also, Korea and China influenced each other's clothing because they had lots of cultural contact. Some small changes were added as the time goes on , but the basic form of traditional Korean clothes has been inherited.
In this section, we explain about Korean clothing according to classification to make it easy for us to understand the unique value of Korean Clothing.
